Becky's Adventure in Yellowstone

These photos are late in showing up here on the blog, which is entirely my fault! I get the posts all scheduled for as much as a month ahead, then everything else has to wait in a queue.

Becky went to Yellowstone National Park in the dead of winter. She loved it and wanted to share these photos showing how they got around in the back country to view the wildlife.

Greetings from Helen

The Sierras on the way to Virginia City
I got an email from Helen a while back and am passing on a few comments from her:

I am going for at least an hour walk everyday. There are plenty of places to walk here. I especially enjoy going along the river which has more water in it than the Rio Grande. I do miss those bike rides, though, with all the birds one could see.

I am in touch with Jean L. and plan to call her tomorrow.

Our daughter has moved to Austin and so far they love it there.

Say hello to everyone at knitting. I will attach a couple of pictures.

Goodbye, Hardy, Honorary Knitter

Hardy has retired as Rita's guide dog and has gone up to Albuquerque to live with his new family. I think he was feeling pretty emotional that last day when he came to the Knitting/Crocheting/Sewing group. He just wouldn't look into the camera for me.

Goodbye, good Hardy. We'll miss you!

Susan's Solution

Susan's granddaughter outgrew her sweater (see the first version here), so Susan added a ruffle!*

*(It's my photo that is making it look lopsided. In person, it is perfect).

Donna's Baby Quilt

Donna's daughter-in-law did the cross-stitching, and Donna did the quilting and finishing.
