Catching Up With Clair

Petey helps

I get so busy with blogging that I forget to post my own projects. These are from the last several months.
Deer mittens

The other side of the deer mittens. I must have read the directions wrong!
I originally used this Noro Silk Garden Sock yarn for a pair of socks, hated them...

... unraveled them,
and made them into this shrug

More socks

My sweater, knit from Knit Picks Shine Sport yarn.
I was rushing to keep Petey from helping again, thus the wrinkly look.
It's better in person.

Valerie's Blanket

Valerie does so much and is so modest about her accomplishments! I managed to snap this photo just as she was folding up her latest blanket.

Cathy Knits (A Lot)

Sometimes Cathy has help! Max claims this knitted leg warmer.
Leg warmer (modeled on arm)

Shrug (pattern is in Sock Yarn One Skein Wonders, by Judith Durant)

We really liked the way the buttons were sewn on with beads.

And the shrug, modeled by Cathy

Susan Makes Useful Variations from One Pattern

This little sock-like object can be used to hold your glasses or, as Susan has discovered, your fan! The pattern can be found in the book, Sock Yarn One-Skein Wonders, by Judith Durant.

Karen's Fingerless Gloves

From Karen: A perfect fit!  My 90 year old mom helps model the two pair of fingerless gloves made for my 15 year old niece. A matching headband ear warmer is almost done.
