Water in the Rio!

From Clair Z: Terry asked if I would post pictures of water in the Rio Grande when it was released from Elephant Butte Dam. Here you go! 

The water was released at Elephant Butte on May 25. These photos were taken just south of Hatch on May 28. The river is full in Las Cruces and is now quietly filling the canals and ditches, making us feel rich--for the next two months anyway.
