Jean L.: Turning Grief Into Art

Our dear Jean, now living in Tucson, writes: Here are the "pocket kitties" and the pocket bear that I have made.  They are approximately six inches tall.  The cats are for me to remember the two babies that passed away (O'Malley and Baby), plus the black and white replica of Zane!  The lady at the Tucson Knit Shop took pictures of them for me.

Here are most of the bears (and O'Malley Cat) that I have been knitting!  For those of you who don't know, they are trauma teddies that I make to give to those children who have suffered some sort of trauma.  Thanks to Diane and Karen for twisting my arm to make them in the first place!  Thanks to my daughter, Laura, for the wonderful photos!
