Postcards From Mary-Claire's Garden in Michigan

Mary-Claire writes:

Hello to all from St. Clair Shores.
After we had a little snow on Sunday, (which I still have not heard the end of ☹), the sun came out and so did the flowers. It has gotten progressively warmer each day. 😊 

The Peony trees are really starting to show their faces. The blooms are about the size of a dinner plate. I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I do.

 I am planning to uncover the pond tomorrow. I hope to see if the fish 🐠  made it through the winter. The weatherman is calling for 80 degrees by Tuesday which will be perfect for pulling more weeds.🌿

Fourth of July in Mary-Claire's Garden

Hello to everyone on the Fourth of July:
We have had a beautiful but cool summer in Michigan. It has been a great summer for flowers but the weeds love it also. Please do not look too close.
We are doing well but very busy with this and that around the house. I cannot believe the summer is half over. Sniff!
I hope you all are doing well. Miss you very much. See you in November.

Notes from Mary-Claire, a Proud Grandmother

I hope all is well in Cruces and the smoke has quit.

I thought you might like to see our Molly KayLynn. She is laying on a quilt that Marguerite made for her. Babies are wonderful but they keep Mom and Dad busy (as they are finding out).

Please say HI to everyone. I have also attached a picture of a purple moon flower.  I am not certain if they grow them out there.
