Clair Knits the Playground Shawl

The Playground Shawl is a pattern by Polish knitter Justyna Lorkowska. It is so named because, in her words:

One day I cast on for the shawl shortly after breakfast to be ready to knit it during the many hours I find myself with kids at the playground. It was meant to be simple and fun, with a maximum of two sections that could be easily memorized – a perfect playground shawl.

The free pattern can be downloaded from Ravelry here.  I used mostly yarns leftover from a Knit Picks mitten kit; the yarn is fingering weight wool called Palette.  ~Clair Z.
